BLANCPAIN GT SPORTS CLUB : A good weekend at Spa!
Two races involving incidents requiring the safety car reduced the laps of the BMW M6 and the 2 Lamborghini of Claude-Yves Gosselin and Pierre Feligioni. After qualifying 3rd fastest and starting on P5 after race 1, Karim overtook his rivals in the battle for positions in the main race Sunday to take a deserving 3rd place on the podium. He now sits second overall in the points of the 2017 Blancpain GT Sports Club championship.
Karim Ojjeh:"I guess you can say that the podium of the main race was the achievement of hard work from everyone in the team. It's not "my" podium, but "our" podium as a team. We are getting to know the car better and better. It will be harder at the last two races. However, we intend to be prepared!"
